Email-first work intelligence for field-service businesses
Vyom is a web application for small and mid-sized field-service businesses in India — firms that run their sales, service and support out of a shared email inbox. Vyom reads that inbox and derives the work hidden inside it: the contacts and companies you are talking to, the deals in progress, the tasks somebody promised, the meetings being arranged, and background research on the customer. Each derived record links back to the exact email it came from, so you can always see why Vyom concluded something.
Vyom can also draft replies for you, summarise a day's mail into a brief, and write approved records into an accounting or ERP system such as Tally, Zoho Books, SAP Business One or Odoo.
Why Vyom asks for access to your Google account
Vyom's only source of information is your email and calendar, so it cannot do anything useful until you connect a Google account. Here is exactly what it asks for and why:

Read your Gmail messages (
gmail.readonly) — to import your threads and derive the contacts, deals, tasks, calendar events and research behind them, and to answer your questions about your own mail. -
Send email on your behalf (
gmail.send) — to send a reply you have read and explicitly approved. Vyom never sends mail on its own initiative. -
Read your Google Calendar (
calendar.readonly) — to show your availability next to a thread so a proposed time does not clash. -
Create calendar events (
calendar.events) — only when you book a meeting or ask for one. Never as a side effect of reading mail. -
Your email address (
userinfo.email) — to identify your account and record which mailbox was connected.
Vyom's AI proposes; it never acts alone. No email is sent, no quote issued and no record written to your books without a person approving that specific action. Vyom's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train generalised AI models. You can disconnect at any time from within Vyom or at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
